Emails that we send to clients and third parties may contain confidential and/or privileged information. If you are not the intended recipient you may not copy, distribute or use for any purpose the information in this email. You must immediately delete it and any attachments and advise the sender, Parnell + Brien Solicitors Pty Ltd, tel. 02 4464 2158 of the fact it was received by you. Legal professional privilege is not waived by the inadvertent disclosure of any email.

Our bank account details will never change during a transaction, and we will never change our bank account details by email alone. Please check all account details with us in person or by telephone. We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect account, or if you direct us to transfer money into an incorrect account.

As a small business as defined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), we are exempt from the Australian Privacy Principles. However, we take seriously our obligation to protect our client’s personal information and ensure our client’s information is secure whether in hard copy or electronic forms. Our solicitors are bound by the Legal Profession Uniform Law Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules 2015, in particular Rule 9 which establishes strict confidentiality obligation for our employed and consultant solicitors.
